I finished up the partials now I am moving on to full skeins again.

I have this wicker laundry basket full of partial skeins. Most of them are Snuggly Wuggly and Bernat Softee Baby. I am trying to use them all up and empty the basket before I start any new skeins. I have been mostly making hats and booties with them. So far I have used up 9 skeins. My knitting machine is also up and running. Yesterday I made 2 preemie blankets on it and I plan to make a couple of newborn blankets this weekend. Here's what I've made so far:

 

Hat & Bootie Sets

I made these sets to send to Pine Ridge Reservation for a baby shower for expecting Moms at one of the high schools.
I used these patterns:
Easy Crochet Striped Earflap Hat
Preemie Booties (these say Preemie but I think they come out a little bigger.)
I used Snuggly Wuggly and Pound of Love yarn for the sets. I just love the hats.

Christmas Things

I have been plugging away on Christmas hats for the babies.  I received some adorable fleece preemie blankets from Nancy of the Preemie Hat Project last month, I have made matching hats to go with them and another dozen holiday hats. I need to get to work on newborn blankets too. I have only made one and have to put a border on the second one so I can get on to the next. Don't forget we are holding a newborn blanket drive all winter. Check out the previous post for details or just go to BellasBabies.org.
